These candles are hideously expensive. And yet worthwhile. The perfume is strong, but not overpowering. Natural not fake. And one can last you a whole year of pine scented evenings. I did however prefer the earlier form factor which was slightly shorter.

I think the title of the review says it all. My wife & I have been using these for ages. Once in a blue moon she tries some other brand of scented candle, but regardless of price, none of these have ever measured up. Thank you, Bougies Rigaud for setting an unmatchable standard of excellence.

Once upon a time, the perfect candleDec 08, 2009
Yes it is expensive, but it is worth it, trust me, I have been using them since childhood.....! our house in Paris had that perfect cypress smell and on the center table the perfect looking candle....!
Always green with a red bow and that enticing smell....! that no other candle come close, even the box you wanted to keep.
Once bought and enjoyed, once gone, you will only be longing for that perfect candle.
I have tried others, I have spent hundreds of dollars on other candles....! thinking that maybe I will save, but no I did not save, because the smell was not perfect, all the other candles were overpowering, making our house smell like a cheap refreshing air product....!
Rigaud Cypress in a beautiful packaging and a perfect smell....!
Enjoy them they are as worth as yourself....!
